Our Partner DMC in Malta, 3sixtymeetings together with Conventions Malta and Hilton Malta organised a fabulous Educational trip over the weekend of the 1st Feb giving 10 agencies the opportunity to experience Malta in the way that 3sixtymeetings knows best….and what a trip!
Starting with a VIP welcome over champagne and Eggs Benedict at Heathrow Terminal 4 VIP lounge, the arrival in Malta was equally stylish, using a genuine 1930’s vintage bus to transfer to the hotel.
Hilton extended their usual hospitality with a champagne reception on arrival and then shortly after came another surprise – Genuine 1960’s Mini Coopers of varying colours and styles arrived to transfer the group for dinner in Valletta…En route, a quick visit to The Upper Barrakka Gardens, and Saluting Battery, which can be privatised for groups of 300-400, then popping in to The Coleridge Hotel – one of Valletta’s Luxury Boutique hotels before a pre dinner Gin Cocktail and sumptuous dinner in the city, gave the event professionals a chance to see alternative venues for groups.
Saturday was a relaxed start where Local Pastizzi and Kinnie were sampled before heading to the Mdina and a walk about the city…where yet more champagne and canapes were served on the bastions of Mdina whilst enjoying the spectacular views of Malta.
Lunch was in a 2000 year old Cave…yep…3sixtymeetings can sort that out too with the added touch of a local artist transforming delegate signatures into art. The Three cities were next with a harbour cruise on a traditional gondola and The Maritime Museum before heading to the Hilton via the spectacular Dingli Cliffs and a couple of hours of relaxation.
It was an Asian dinner on Saturday hosted by Hilton Malta at the amazing Blue Elephant Restaurant followed by a night cap at Malta’s highest Night Club.
The trip came to end with a visit to A stunning private Palazzo and gardens in Naxxar followed by a visit to the vibrant fish market and lunch in Marsaxlokk
The trip was run personally by Trevor, of 3sixtymeetings, in the exact same way he handles all his groups.
