55 New Hotels to be Built in Morocco

Nearly half of the new hotels are expected to be opened in 2017

These hotels construction projects show that Morocco is preparing to compete with the main tourist destinations of the world. As many as 3171 five-star rooms and suites will be added to Morocco’s bed capacity with the 22 hotels that will be constructed by end 2017.

This is the 1st phase in Morocco’s plan that seeks to attract 20 million tourists by 2020. Morocco currently ranks 3rd in the Middle East and North Africa in terms of hotel constructions projects.
