On 8th July, 2017, the ‘London Korean Festival’ was held to great acclaim in Olympia London, welcoming 12,000 visitors throughout the day.
The festival was an opportunity to experience Korean food & culture and learn more about the forthcoming PyeongChang2018 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, followed by a sell out evening with Korea's latest Kpop idols.
The Festival daytime activities featured Taekwondo, cultural performances and a host of Korea's dynamic arts culture, from webtoons to traditional crafts.
The Korea Tourism Organisation was there to promote PyeongChang 2018 (commencing February 2018), along with a host of ideas on what to see and do in Korea throughout the year.
The number of millennials enjoying the activities from VR ski-jumping, curling, food and performances further demonstrated Korea's attractiveness to this next generation of travellers.
