Aer Lingus today announced the addition of a new Cork to Brussels route to its 2012 summer schedule.
The introduction of the Cork to Brussels service brings the total number of routes operated by Aer Lingus at Cork to 24 and comes on foot of a recent announcement that the airline is increasing frequencies on its Cork to Amsterdam and Cork to Faro services.
Brussels is an attractive destination for both business and leisure travellers. While the Belgian capital has long since been popular with the business commuter, Brussels is a city full of surprises for those looking for an exciting city break. Food lovers can sample local and international culinary delights in the city’s fine restaurants. Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) - Malaysia Event Resource

Malaysia Convention and Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) has launched the first phase of its website (www.myceb.com.my ) and the Quick Response (QR) Code as an integral part of the Bureau's strategic efforts to compete on the international business events arena more effectively.
“The interactive website functions as a two-way communication portal showcasing Malaysia’s business events products and services. It includes quick access to venues, accommodation, incentive ideas and enquiries. It would be valuable to assist meeting planners to gain useful information for planning business events in Malaysia,” said Ms Ho Yoke Ping, General Manager – Sales & Marketing, MyCEB at the launch.

Future development will see the website’s integration with a Customer Relationship Programme (CRM) developed by Arizona, USA-based simpleview, one of the world’s leading providers of CRM for convention bureaus. Besides enhancing service delivery to meet individual needs of meeting and event planners, a platform for information exchange and interactive product search plus the Request For Proposals tool will also be created.

Also presented to the media for the first time was the MyCEB QR code, which directs user to the website for instant access when scanned with a smart-phone QR reader.
Ms Ho explained, “The MyCEB QR code was designed to be easily recognised with a link to Malaysia’s global icon, the PETRONAS Twin Towers. Juxtaposing red on blue and black, it stands out among traditional QR Codes which gives it a unique identity.”

18 Oct 2011 – The Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) announces that London, UK-based Moulden Marketing Ltd has been appointed as their European sales and marketing representation office.  Moulden Marketing will assist with bids, and marketing programmes for the European convention and incentive market to Malaysia.


MyCEB was established to lead the growth of the international business events market for Malaysia. In close collaboration with the industry, MyCEB provides a range of support services for international business events, including bid support for associations and congress.

Joining forces with Moulden Marketing, a well-established and experienced company in the European meetings market, the appointment is viewed as a strategic move forward. Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) - Air Asia moves to Gatwick from Stansted

AirAsia X has completed its switch from Stansted to Gatwick Airport.

The low-cost airline will be flying five times a week to Kuala Lumpur, moving to six flights a week by mid-December.

The Gatwick-Kuala Lumpur route will be serviced by AirAsia X’s Airbus A340-300.

4 Corner Events - Dubai, UAE - Emirates to launch daily service to Dublin

Emirates will begin daily flights to Dublin from January next year.

The daily service from January 9 will leave Dubai at 07:00 am and arrive in the Irish capital at 11:30 am.
The return flight leaves Dublin at 12:55 pm and gets into Dubai at 00:25 am the next day. An Airbus A330-200 will be deployed on the route offering First, Business and Economy class.

Dublin will be Emirates’ 29th destination in Europe.

The airline said it saw “strong potential in Ireland through its industry, technology, tourism and the huge number of Irish nationals living overseas”.

Activ'Travel - Morocco - BMI increased frequency to Marrakech

 

BMI's direct services to Marrakech in Morocco will be increased from three to five times a week, in response to growing customer demand.
