Travel to Peru with No Quarantine

Here’s everything you need to know for travelling to this marvellous destination!

As previously established, the two main requirements to access the country are a negative PCR test result issued within the last 72 hours prior to boarding, and a digital Sworn Statement of Health and Geolocation Authorization of the Government of Peru.

Recently, authorities established more flexible measures that enable travellers to skip the mandatory 14-day quarantine by taking an antigenic test upon arrival, to ensure their state of health. Both vaccinated and non-vaccinated travellers must take this second test to continue their travels without undergoing a quarantine period.

Condor have provided further insight into the process of taking the antigenic test, and the molecular test required for departures. Condor Travel will provide full support during the entire process.

In Lima, tests can be taken 24 hours a day, with a slight variation in prices depending on the time:
• Condor Travel will request a testing appointment with an authorised laboratory, at least 48 hours prior to traveller’s arrival. 
• Tests will be taken at traveller's hotel.
• Every traveller must sign a consent letter provided by the laboratory, to allow Condor Travel to access their test results.
• Results will be sent via email to the passenger within 24 hours in the case of a molecular test, and within 30 minutes, in the case of an antigenic test.

Tests in Cusco can be taken from Mondays through Saturdays, 7:00 – 17:00:
• Condor Travel will request a testing appointment at least 24 hours prior to traveller’s arrival.
• The test will be taken at traveller's hotel, be it in Cusco City or the Sacred Valley.
• Molecular test results taken between 7:30 and 10:00, will be issued during the day. Otherwise, they will be issued the following day.
• If the antigenic test was taken in Cusco City the results will be delivered in 30 minutes. If it was taken in the Sacred Valley, they will be delivered in a 2-hour time frame.
