Stay Connected for Your Success

Korea’s cutting-edge technology trends, scientific lead, unlimited opportunities for industrial development, global accessibility and excellent MICE and IT infrastructure is now summarised in this latest message from the KoreaMICE Bureau Conventions team: 'Stay Connected for Your Success'.

Its probably no coincidence as public 5G was recently rolled out earlier this year, having already trialled it for the Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang in 2018.

With oodles of traditional charm, great food options, and must see experiences, the attractiveness of Korea for global meetings is firmly established.

Networking, in both senses of the word, could not be easier.

Korea has topped the UIA statistics charts for the last two year's running, as a lead in hosting international conventions.

As a result of such strong credentials, in 2019 alone there are already 69 confirmed congress coming to Korea, with an average attendance of 1000 pax.

UPCOMING MAJOR INTERNATIONAL MEETINGS TO BE HELD IN KOREA IN 2019 include:

18 International Conference on Emergency Medicine, Seoul, June 12-15

10 IBRO World Congress of Neuroscience, Daegu, September 21-25

IBA (International Bar Association) Annual Conference, Seoul, September 22

27 IDF (International Diabetes Federation) Congress, Busan, December 2 — 6

Last year Korea revealed their latest Ambassador programme which has been instrumental in winning yet more meetings for Korea over the next few years.

It is not just for their lead in medical sciences, earlier this year Seoul also welcomed 1600+ pax to the Global Peace Convention, and as the homeland of Nam June Paik, the founder of video art, Gwangju anticipates a further 1000 artists and academics to their City of Light for ISEA 2019, June 22-28.

Continuing to provide state of the art services, with easy access to the international airport at Incheon, Korea has unveiled another convention centre in Suwon, just South of Seoul in Gyeonggi do, within an hour of both the airport and Seoul, bringing the number of major purpose built Convention Centres to four in just the capital and surrounding county alone. A further 9 regions offer the latest convention facilities, connected by the high speed KTX bullet train West to East / North to South, you can hold your conference in the capital, near the airport, at the coast, or via short hop plane, captivated in Jeju island's resort ambience.

A range of support is offered by the KoreaMICE Bureau convention team to support your international congress and meetings, and you can come and meet them, and their partners, including the regional CVB, at IMEX Frankfurt 2019, and The Meetings Show London 2019
