Jaarbeurs

Jaarbeurs is one of the Netherlands’ leading exhibition and conference venues, located in the heart of Utrecht, directly opposite the country’s largest railway hub, Utrecht Centraal Station. Founded in 1916, Jaarbeurs has evolved into a dynamic destination for international exhibitions, conferences, and large-scale events, welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors every year.

The venue offers over 100,000 m² of flexible exhibition space across multiple halls, alongside modern conference facilities designed to accommodate events of all sizes. At the heart of the complex is Media Plaza, a unique conference centre known for its innovative architecture, futuristic design, and inspiring meeting spaces including the Polar theatre and Auditorium.

Jaarbeurs is ideally positioned for international events. Utrecht sits at the centre of the Dutch rail network, with fast and direct connections to Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and The Hague, while Amsterdam Airport Schiphol is just 30 minutes away by train. The city itself is compact and highly walkable, with many hotels, restaurants, and cultural attractions located within a short distance of the venue.

Utrecht is also an increasingly popular destination for sustainable event travel. The city can often be reached by train faster than flying from many European destinations, and once there, delegates can easily explore the city on foot. Within just ten minutes’ walk of Jaarbeurs, visitors can discover a range of remarkable venues, from the contemporary spaces of Royal Jaarbeurs to the historic charm of Utrecht’s picturesque old town.

Combining extensive exhibition halls, cutting-edge conference facilities, a highly accessible location, and a vibrant city setting, Jaarbeurs provides an exceptional environment for international trade shows, congresses, and corporate events.
