In 2011, Sandman expanded into the UK with Sandman Signature Newcastle Hotel and in 2018, the launch of Sandman Signature Aberdeen, the groups' flagship property.

In October 2019, they acquired the stunning Portmarnock Resort, Dublin's only coastal resort - complete with Championship Golf Links, a spa and award-winning restaurants.

In April 2023, Sandman opened their second hotel in Scotland, Sandman Signature Glasgow Hotel. This year’s acquisition sees a significant refurbishment of the Sheffield Quays hotel.
